Last night I had another photo job for celebrities.com to photograph Thomas Ian Nicholas (Rookie of the Year, American Pie) at his gig at The Khyber in Philadelphia for his acoustic tour. Only knowing him as an actor I checked out his myspace page before the show to listen to some of his music and I must say, it's actually good (something about a boy with a guitar). The show went well…he played some songs, I took some shots and afterwards we all hung out and talked over drinks. Now I know he's not a-list or anything but I was surprised at how normal he was. I guess you have this idea in your head that, omg this guy has been in movies that I've seen, but
when it comes down to it, he's like everyone else… It felt like he was a college buddy I was catching up with over drinks… So go give him a listen…. I'm not sure when a cd is coming together but definitely keep an eye out for it….
